From industry we predominantly install units to process black and white fixer used in NDT processes, and we collect fixer, film and developers. There are also a number of other industrial wastes produced that we collect from graphic arts studios or more traditional industry.

Both private and NHS healthcare trusts have a huge need for radiography. As with the photographic trade, digital imaging is breaking ground every day, but at huge cost.
Traditional X-ray will almost certainly still be around for the foreseeable future and whilst it remains, Envirometal’s highly trained service engineers and specialist range of equipment is ideal for any unit, of any size, anywhere in the country.
We are also experts in the treatment of bulked archives of film and medical records that may have been stored by hospitals for any number of years. We will issue certificates of confidentiality and destruction upon request.
Plastic: Collected from customers and sorted into re-usable / damaged drums. Good condition drums are washed and re-used, damaged drums are shredded and reused into items such as motorway drainage pipe. Also some 125L & 205L drums are used in our fabrication plant where they are converted to use in Ink Funnels.
Steel: Collected from our customers and sorted into re-usable/ damaged drums. Drums in good condition are checked and new lids/clips replaced where necessary, they are then re-sprayed and labelled. Damaged drums are crushed using our on site crusher, all crushed drums are collected and sent for steel recycling.
